INAC started publishing preliminary information of the cattle's ear-tag that each farmer has sent to slaughter. Access to this data is through the "black boxes" web site with each farmer's PIN.
The Electronic Information System for the Beef Industry (SEIIC) - black boxes, is generating new data from different technology located in the plants in 4 stages.
The information published corresponds only to one slaughter plant, in joint work between SEIIC and SIRA from the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries.
Apart from the ear-tags, each farmer can see the yield of his cattle sent to slaughter, comparatively displayed in graphs with the average yield at national level of each category.
