Meat Festival

Over two thousand people took part of the 1^st Festival named "Pando, Meat Capital City", where they ate rib plate, sausages and hamburgers. 200 schoolchildren enjoyed a demonstration of the meat traceability system at INAC's stand.

The Festival was held on Sunday 14^th November at the location of Centro de Protección de Choferes (Drivers Protection Center) of Pando city.

Between 12:00 am and 8:00 pm INAC showed a video on traceability as attribute of Uruguayan meats.

There was also a traceability activity for about 200 children and teachers from public schools.

This activity was organized by Rotary Club Pando, with collaboration from "Everybody for Pando", a group formed by local institutions.
