A delegation headed by the Japanese Ambassador met with authorities of INAC and MGAP.
They made a tour through INAC where they were shown the Back Boxes simulator to explain them how traceability.
INAC’s President Alfredo Fratti received the Japanese Ambassador Kenichi Sakuma, toghether with MGAP Directors Ricardo Baluga and Franciso Muzio, as well as Ambassador Julio Baraibar.
Japanese Counselor Katsuhiro Matsumoto, Second Secretary Taku Igarashi, Second Secretary Emiko Yamaguchi, Akemi Ikeda, and Masahiko Mori were also present.
Now that the process for the opening of the Korean market for Uruguayan meats has come to an end and authorization is imminent, efforts are focused in the Japanese market.
