INAC supports other institutes of the region which promote cattle farming

The Director of Information and Economic Analysis, Dr. Pablo Caputi was speaker at the Conference "The future of cattle breeding", with a presentation titled "Opportunities for MERCOSUR beef in the world:  INAC's vision", which was organized by the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA in Spanish), in Santa Fe, Argentina, in the framework of NORSAFE Conference.

Dr. Caputi commented on the world market vision, and the evolution on production and exports in Uruguay, together with some reflections on Uruguay's institutions, specially referring to INAC's work.

Evaluating INAC's participation in the conference, Dr. Caputi mentioned that the Institute is taken as reference in relation to the link between the public and private sector, to generate policies pointing out Uruguay's progress in international markets regarding the positioning of its brand.

INTA's web page published that more than 250 people took part of the Conference with the presence of people related to the cattle breeding sector such as: Daniel Rearte (Coordinator of INTA's National Meat Programme); Miguel Schiariti (Chairman of the Meat Industry and Trade Chamber of Argentina and Vicechairman of the Board of IPCVA) and Pablo Caputi (Director Information and Economic Analysis of Uruguay's National Meat Institute).
