The second experience of Traceability in Uruguay took place at INAC's Restaurant in Shanghai.
Authorities from Nafta countries, European Union, Russian Federation, Ukraine, China, Hong Kong, amongst others, on the occasion of "Pledge of Allegiance to the Constitution" were invited.
It is the second Traceability Day celebrated in the Restaurant with the intention to promote the system which allows to link the production from field to table.
Meat dishes are served with the name of the cut and a label which is read by the Electronic Information System of the Meat Industry, thus showing the details of the farm and the farmer's photo where the cattle was bred.
