Main indicators

Economic Analysis and Information Director, Dr. Pablo Caputi, presented the main indicators included in the Statistical Report Year ending June 30^th. 2010.  The next decade will be good in regards to animal protein, said Caputi.

The specialist pointed out to the press that slaughter is stable, although the percentage of females reaches 55%, sustained by high prices in fat cows which are well placed and the end of drought, he indicated.

Regarding exports, Caputi said the country reached 416 thousand tons cw in beef and 1.400 million dollars in value regarding all types of meat.
