INAC at the Regional Meat Congress in Brazil

The President of INAC, Alfredo Fratti, made a presentation at the IMS Regional Congress “High-Quality meat for all people” that took place in Campo Grande.

Said presentation was entitled "Marketing of Uruguay: Inspired in identity”.

The following issues were among the main topics discussed at the congress: red meats and their effect on human health; fair trade in the meat chain; environment, climate change and sustainable production; traceability, animal health and residues; internal subsidies in Mercosur; and international markets

INAC’s delegation was composed of Board Members Emilio Mangarelli and Guzmán Tellechea, the Director of External Markets Silvana Bonsignore, the Deputy Director of Quality Control and Development Ricardo Robaina, Members of SEIIC-Balck boxes’ Executive Committee Mary Vilanova and Daniel Abraham, and Fernando Gil and Christelle Nöel from the General Directorate.
