"Asado" at the Antarctica

A lunch was held at the Uruguayan Antarctic Base in which staffs from the stations of the Russian Federation, Korea, China and Chile were invited to taste asado.

The Uruguayan Base is the only one with a barbecue and for this occasion INAC organized an asado to promote Uruguayan beef among the representatives of these countries with base on the Antarctica.

 

Arrival of rib-plate to the Artigas Antartic Base.

From the Antarctica, the President of INAC, Alfredo Fratti, stated that 70 Kg of rib-plate had arrived for this occasion and that a ton of beef had been donated to the Uruguayan Antarctic Institute.
