In the framework of the dinner offered by the President of the Republic José Mujica to the Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, INAC performed a demonstration of Uruguayan beef traceability, at “Pabellón de las Rosas” of the Presidential House at Suarez St.

This time, 120 people related to the government and to the Chinese delegation tasted rib plate and cube roll, traced and especially selected for the occasion.

Every time a traceability demonstration is carried out in Uruguay or somewhere else, the country´s image is related with a 100 % traceable system that offers guarantees to consumers.

A 100 % traceable system makes it possible to go back from plate to farm; identify slaughter plants, production lots, geographical areas, farms, farmers and animals in real time.

This way, if a cut is traced, any consumer in the word, within Uruguay and abroad, can know exactly the origin of his/her food, which farm it came from and who was the farmer who produced it.
