Sheep Meat to the United States

Authorities of the government and of the US Embassy celebrated yesterday at Frigorífico San Jacinto the first shipment of sheep meat sent to the United States.

Among other authorities the Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries Tabaré Aguerre, the Ambassadress of the United States in Uruguay Julissa Reynoso, and the Vicepresident of INAC Fernando Pérez Abella atended the event.

The Director of Quality Control and Development of INAC Ricardo Robaina was also present together with the President of the processing plant Gustavo Dieguez and the Vicepresident Gastón Scayola.

This first shipment is of 11 tons of boneless sheep meat.
